Hi. I have been reading a lot on here about fuel leaks on the lines by the firewall where the lines connect and decided it was time to look into why mine smelled of gas too. Well, mine is also a loose clamp. As a matter of fact the clamp is totally loose and just hangin on the metal pipe. Its one of the clamps below the brake master cylinder, where the rubber and metal lines meet. My problem is access to the clamp. What do I all have to remove to get to this clamp to tighten it? It sure doesn't look very easy to get to.
Thanks in Advance

Ususally yo can't rech the clamp with the screwdriver, somtimes using a rachet (6mm) and some "prolongators" is helpful, but in my case ( two years ago) the clamp was in the lower side of the line and I have had to remove the power steering fluid reservoir to get access to the clamp. Using a very clean container the fluid can be reused.

Patience and good luck.

Emilio
