To program da intermittent wipers...move the wiper stalk to 'intermittent'. Let the wipers make one pass. Turn the wipers off for the length of time that you wish the intermittent to be set at...I'm not sure of the min or max setting... put the stalk back to 'intermittent' . All set!

In fact, too many to list. If you have an owners manual, you really should take the time to read through it. If you don't have one...you really should go to your local dealer and purchase one...if they act like they can't get one...try The BMW Store (800-582-8247). They cost between $12 -$20. BMW NA used to send them to owners for free but they recently stopped giving them away. 8-(

Some little secrets that come to mind:
1. heated mirrors - this works automatically when the temp reaches a certain degree
2. heated door locks - pull up and hold the drivers door handle for 5 sec and the drivers door lock will begin to heat up(45 seconds) to thaw frozen locks...this procedure can be repeated 3 times within 45 minutes. (great for those of us in snow country!)
3. programmable intermittant wipers (if anyone has actually done this...speak now or forever hold your peace) 8-)
4. The OBC has a myriad of tricks (owners manual is a must have) example: parking ventilation; distance/arrival time feature; "code" immobilizing feature; hidden codes that tell you exact measures of vehicle functions (somewhere in the archives is instructions to decipher)
5. switchblade remote - (89-9/91 mfg date) will lock, double-lock, & close windows and sunroof just like the key
