The wipers are a study in themselves (I live in a wet climate!)
1. They're speed sensitive - accellerate from town speeds to 70 - 80 and they've subtly speeded up.
2. They move to intermittent automatically when the car's stopped
3. The programmable intermittent is intuitive - use the intermittent instead of the single sweep when the rain's light and it happens as if by magic.
4. Some of the cars are fitted with a tensioning device for the driver's wiper to hold it to the screen at speed, I'm told.
It's this kind of thought that makes me fond of the old beast. If only the heater was working properly I'd maybe be able to see out of it !
