What does the dash unit say when you put it in d. Should indicate ed. In sport mode it shifts at higher rpm and the shifts are faster and harder and it will not shift into 5th gear if I remember right. When it is winter mode it starts out in a higher gear to avoid wheel spin. Don't know if it will cause any damgage in the long run unless you do a lot of highway driving in sport mode. It will hurt you in fuel consumption. Check archives for a fix.

My switch does not go economy mode, only winter and sport. Does anyone know if this is just a defected switch? Or could it be a problem with the transmission? How long can I keep driving in winter mode or sport mode before it damage the transmission (or does it affect the transmission at all)?
