These are the classic signs of bad thrust arm bushings. These are the large rubber bushings that are pressed into the arms that connect the bottom of the struts to the chassis on a diagonal to the rear.

They can often look fine until removed and examined. I would as a matter of course remove the thrust arms and replace the bushings with at least 750il bushings, or better yet polyurethane ones. Carefully check these and the lower control arm ball joints for wear as well.

Unless your struts allow the car to bounce several times after a bump, or the steering is binding, I wouldn't worry about the struts or strut bearings just yet.

90% chance you just need new thrust arm bushings (assuming you don't have badly warped brake rotors or pulsating brakes).
