Same problem on my 750iL this summer. It's a royal PITA to get at. You have to remove the rear seat, all of it - the seat and the backrest. Once that is out, you can pull the rear shelf out. The sunscreen is riveted onto the rear deck. You can drill out the rivets and purchase another at the stealer. Or you can just roll it up and re-assemble. If you have never tackled the rear seat, this can easily be a multi hour job. Hence the need for a six pack.


my rear window shade on my 1989 735i is stuck and wont go back in. It is a manual window shade and i was wondering if anyone knew how to get at it to take it out.
