If this is an electronic trans disconnect the computer and then check to see if you have reverse or not. If you do then you know it probably is not the tranny but if you disconnect the computer (for the trans) and yo still have no reverse then your tech is correct.( he is also correct if this is NOT an electronic unit) Good luck!!

My mechanic has just told me that the lack of reverse is a problem with the gearbox. Anyone have any suggestions otherwise?
