OBC - replace clock? (archive)

Can anyone tell me this:

I have a analogue clock in my E30. I would be interested in changing it for a OBC unit. They are both the same size for the dash board but does the OBC require any additional extras that my E30 won't have? I.e does the OBC have a out-side temp gauge - will my car have the gauge fitted anyway?
