The ticking could be coming from many things, I'm sure, maybe the brakes. But check your lug nuts. The last time I had a sound like that it was because the tire store had not tightened one of the wheels.

I get some ticking sound from the left rear side of my 88 750 and when I touch/tap the brake pedal it goes off. I thoght it could be the rear left drive shaft but why does it go off when I hit the brake pedal.

Any help out there is sincerely appreciated.
