My car has a 1987 735i speedo which is also stuck in the high 299's.

How can the plug be reseted? By whom?

New one costs like hell and I have a less driven engine on the car anyway so I'd like to set it to 220 or something. Or reset it to zero, no one will ever believe a car like this to have been driven so little so no stealer can use that when the car is sold.
