Here's a pic of the M3.
Yeah, with regard to the 735i I've owned plenty on BMW's in my time and so has Stevie (above). We went together in his E32 735i to see the car I just bought. Both of us were certain the mileage was genuine.
The condition and history (esp. who the past onwer was - don't want to reveal that until I've got the car in my sticky little hands...lol) left neither of us in doubt as to the authenticity of the mileage.
I have to say what I've paid for it is really 'top dollar' for one of these cars here in the UK...but the way we rationalised it was that even back in 1989 these cars cost £40,000....this car is still nearly new and so it wasn't really such a lot of money for such a quality car!
Anyway, until I get the car so I can post some pics of it here's a pic of my E30 M3.
Cheers

the E-32 driving experience..the miles just melt
away. Man..26k mi..you've owned some Bimmers in
your time..presume you know what a 26k mi car looks like..hope its true mileage. How many
miles on your M E-28..quite a car in its own right.

Hi!
I've just bought a 1989 735i SE with a genuine 26,000 miles on the clock!
haven't been able to drive it home today as there are a few very minor things that I want the dealership to do before I hand over the final payment. But after driving my friend's car about 100 miles on the way back I can hardly wait to get it! His has just done 80K and I couldn't believe how smooth and 'unfussed' a drive these cars are!
I've been driving BMWs for nearly 20 years....but these E32's seem so 'effortless'!
Will post some pics and stuff when I get it!
