Had this problem not so long ago,wherby mine did all of the above and more, turned out it was the BROWN Multi plug on the right of the pod that was slack, I locked mine into position and touch wood it's been OK since.

Kepp loosing various gauges/lights on the dash. Giving the top of the binicle a sharp slap usually cures the problem, have checked the multi conectors at the back of the dash pod but still the same. any ideas?
