Spent quite a bit of time checking out The E32 Register Website already and some of the links from it!

Some of it's a bit scarey but I guess it's like any car...one only really ever gets to read about all the 'problems' people get and how to fix'em!

I had the same worries ( even more!) when I was getting the M3! At least this time I'm getting a car with the M30 engine which I know really well going back as far as 3.0CS days!

Still some of the electric stuff on the E32 sounds worrisome? I've never even owned a car with air-con before!

Looking for to be in touch with some guys in the UK who know the 'ins and outs' of these cars and sources of 'stuff' etc.

Cheers

Derin

Hi Derin

glad to see your now a proud owner of a 7 series, I hope it is everything you want in a car. I hope you can give us a visit at the uk register when you have time, and possibly make it to the next meeting on the 3rd february.

Hi!

I've just bought a 1989 735i SE with a genuine 26,000 miles on the clock!

haven't been able to drive it home today as there are a few very minor things that I want the dealership to do before I hand over the final payment. But after driving my friend's car about 100 miles on the way back I can hardly wait to get it! His has just done 80K and I couldn't believe how smooth and 'unfussed' a drive these cars are!

I've been driving BMWs for nearly 20 years....but these E32's seem so 'effortless'!

Will post some pics and stuff when I get it!
