Really sounds like there are air pockets in the coolant. The key here is that when heat is selected, the coolant travels a longer path through the heater matrix. Did you bleed the system with the heater controls set on maximum heat?

The best method I have found to bleed the system is to drive the car up on ramps so that the bleeder screw on the thermostat housing is the highest point in the cooling system. Set the heater controls on the inside of the car to maximum heat. Start the engine and allow it to come up to operating temperature (12 o'clock). Loosen the bleeder screw on the thermostat housing and leave it open until onlt coolant comes out. Voila, no more air. There is also another technique using the small vent hose that runs from the top left-hand side of the radiator to the coolant reservoir but you will have to search the archives.

Regards

Alex

Thanks for all the input but the oil is just fine nice and gold color, the fan clutch has been replaced and it has some resistance when the engine is cold. I have not checked the upper rad hose yet but i will soon. The engine runs fine while im driving but as soon as i stop and dont have the blower on hot then the car starts to kreeeeeeep to the hot zone and when i turn on the blower the niddle goes back to the middle its not so bad right now because it cold outside but in the summer it gets worse, this problem happened one day i changed the coolante. When i shorted the aux fan i just took the two wires off the switch and attached them togetter the fan was going like a mad cat and the temp still did not go down only when i turn the heat controls on and set the blower motor to max. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP I HOPE I CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM.!!!!!!
