Is the steering column switch difficult to fit?

Yes, this can be done!
You should check whether you have a car with EML or that it uses plain ald cables for the throtle.
In case of EML you'd need The switch on the steering colum and a control unit in you E-box located on the right side of your enginebay (has a blue plug). If you have a throtle cable(no EML) you'll also need a servo motor.
I've been told that the control units between the models(w and wo EML) are different so watch for that.
All the required wiring should be in your car.
Good luck !

Has anybody on this forum retro fitted cruise control to their e32 735i ?? If so how is it done. The reason I ask is because I drove a friends 735i (thanks Derin) 150 miles to his home on Saturday and the drive was made easy by cruise control. My poor wife had to use her right foot to propel her 735i behind me!!!
