There has been so much pertinent information dispensed that is either irretrievable or so hard to find it's not even funny. Sometimes it's easier to use a search engine like google.com to find info I know has been mentioned on the board.

I do read the e38 board and find the difference interesting. I suppose some of it has to do with them having newer vehicles...many still under warranty...and they've invested more money up front. (and probably more disposable income) When it comes to cosmetic upgrades though...some of the e38 guys are really knowledgeable!

I can't help but notice a real interesting difference in the quality of these two sites, as I have both an E32 and E38 to care for. This E32 site has some really experienced, insightful BMW owners who work hard to keep their cars in top shape and have developed considerable technical expertise. The E38 site has little of that, mainly gripes about dealers and irrelevent philosophical discussions about BMW ownership. I guess in 10 years, that site will mature through necessity, the same as this one has. On the other hand, both models are outstanding autos, the difference is mainly in the owner's experience. I'm truly grateful for all the technical interchange available here, and want to express that to all. Bob H.
