I have what sounds like the same problem. My passenger side seat was twisted and I repaired it as per instructions on this site (the cable fix). While the seat was out of the car I also decided to repair the inoperative head rest. In taking off the back cover to the seat I noticed that the back right hand side of the seat was actually bent out half way up. No idea how to fix that, or what might have caused it! The seat now, although not twisted at the bottom does twist slightly as it reaches the head rest. No way to fix other than to replace that part of the seat, or get it repaired in a metal shop!!

Good luck with your seat!

OK guys, I have a problem thats driving me crazy.
My diver seat back is twisted. I read about the cable fix and all that but I think I have a diferent problem.
My seat seems to be a little twisted halfway down the seat back. Almost like the frame is bent. Any ideas on how this might happen and how to fix it? Just replace the whole seat?

THANKS!
