Just my 2 cents, but I would never pay anyone $120 just to change my plugs. Besides, it's a fun job and gives you a chance to look things over pretty closely (hoses, wires, air leak sources) and is a fundamental part of a maintenance program. I'd also suggest you buy a plug thread chaser and clean out the carbon and crap before putting in new ones (about $5 at any auto parts store - but take a plug to the store to make sure you get the right pitch). Also use a good high temperature anti-seize compound on the threads, either copper or alumninum paste base, but be careful not get any of it on the porcelain or on the plug base, just on the threads themselves. That'll make next time a whole lot easier and cleaner. Also make sure you gap each plug to spec., so you'll need a spark plug gap tool too.Do it. You'll have fun and will know that the job was done right, the plugs properly gapped, no cracked porcelain or cross threaded plugs. Bob H.
