2 probs w/ my 90 750i. Recently had the tranny rebuilt (automatic-- I know, I know...I wanted a manual, but the price on this car was way too low to pass up & wait for a man to come available) and the automatically diping passenger side mirror stopped dipping when shifting to reverse about 3 weeks after getting her out of the shop. I suspect the contact on the shifter wasn't reconnected properly, but don't know where to look for it. Also, with the aftermarket wheels on her (don't have the originals) I get a steering wheel vibration between 40-45 mph. The exact speed that it happens changes slightly when the tires are rotated. Someone told me that the Bimmers' are set up to be run on hub-centric wheels. is there any way to correct this problem or to check that this is indeed the problem? Many thanks in advance for your help! This is an absolute dream of a car to drive, and little problems with her just absolutely drive me buggy!
