Soundsl ike it's stuck in deadlock-override, possibly with a loosened drive rod (between the actuator and the lock barrel) and/or a cracked door handle mounting plate for the actuator.

Definitely needs the door trim coming off and the mechanism watching while you try the lock... not super-hard, and no really esoteric tools are needed.

i have looked through the archives and could not find my divers door lock problem. I had used the key in the door to close the windows and then found that my drivers door lock will not go down. When using the keyless entry all the other locks-lock, but the drivers door only stuggles and remains unlocked. I have tried locking the door manually with the door shut and the window open, but with not luck
please help
