Wiper - Will not turn off after activating washers (archive)

My Wipers work fine until I pull on the lever to clean the Windshield. If I pull forward on the Wiper stock, the Wipers activate but will never stop until I switch off the ignition. Any cluses here?

It never fails, I get all the Major work finished and now this car is going to torment me to death on these "little" issues.
