Try Gales web page below for renewal of microfilter.
The microfilter for right hand drive vehicles differs in that it is supplied in two horizontal sliding parts. When fitting in the microfilter you will see that you need to slide it apart slightly (about 70%) to enable you to feed the top part of the filter into the lower part of the filter housing until you are clear of the steering column and then raise the top part of the filter into the upper part of the filter housing and slide the lower part back into its rightful fully closed position. It sounds double dutch but when you come to do it will all make sense. You will require a torx size 20.

For Gale's microfilter technique including photos. Try www.nmia.com/~dgnrg/page_4.htm

Beware, some UK vehicles do not have the microfilter. There will be a sticker visible confirming there is a micofilter installed when you open the glove box.
