below..two factors contribute to emission of
white steam.
- Overall metal content of large BMW exhaust
system..thing is massive and heavy.
- Aging system has some perforations which allow
air ingress for further steam production.

Seems very common for both big six and V12 cars
to emit a lot of steam during warm up.

I saw some postings about this white smoke coming out of the muffler, but i couldn't get to any conclusion.

My car smokes sometimes when it is colder .. ( not OIL burning!!!) that's pure vapor. but sometimes it smokes sooo much !!! but so much, well, after a while driving it stops.
but i was just wondering if it's normal... my coolant level is stable , oil level the same. muffler .. hum, getting old, maybe time to replace it. anything to worry about ??
thank you guys !
