piece a cake..well almost...contact BMA for best
prices..reference Bruno's name. Best insurance
you can take..purchase a new core..plastic piping
and O-rings...should be well underneath $200 US. also obtain new low phosphate antifreeze BMW or
facsimile thereof.
Good Luck with your project.

90 735il/145k..new core

I am considering whether or not to replace the heater core on my current project. 88 735i. The entire interior has been removed including the dash and center console (I can't take full credit for that, it is a recovered theft car and they stole the interior!) Since I am so close.. I am wondering whether it would be a good idea to replace the heater core since I am in it this far. As far as I know this one does not leak. I am also a firm believer in the "if it ain't broke.. don't fix it" concept. Is this a problem that WILL happen with time? Or is just on an occaisional car?

How much does the core itself cost? (any sources?) anything else I should fix in the neighborhood while I am there?

What do you guys think?

Thanks!
