I put the car on four jack stands, disconnected the exhaust near the front of transmission, dropped and moved the exhaust out of the garage in one piece. The three-feet long heat shield was also removed to reveal the driveshaft. Transmission mounts and cross member underneath were also removed. Now I can see the output shaft seal which I want to replace, but the description of the driveshaft connections are different from what I read from Gale's repair page (Thanks, Gale) as well as from neilwerke.com. The driveshaft I have has four 19 mm bolts (instead of three in 120 degree separation) tightened from the transmission flange rearwards, positioned around the driveshaft in a rectangular fashion, and no nuts. There is not enough room between the bolt heads and the transmission housing to fit in a socket and are very tight!

My questions are, do I proceed to remove these four bolts and will I see the same 30mm output shaft nut? The shaft appears to be locked by the Park mechanism and/or the hand brake. If I fit the wrench with a long pipe and torque the bolts, will I break anything inside the transmission (not that I am that strong).

My car has been in the garage for three months to change out the hydraulic valve lifters. Two weeks ago I finally put everything back on the engine and it started! The output shaft seal is the only thing (hopefully) before I can take the 750 back on to the road. Please help! TIA.
