Yes you're 100% correct Max, the reasoning behind my question was the ratio of mph to engine revs, my old 3litre Senator ran at 34mph/1000rpm, my 730 runs about 26mph/1000rpm. I knew my wifes manual 525i was 1:1 in top (5th) so I just saw what I wanted to see when I looked at the column of ratios (what a sillee billee)
BTW A mate in NZ says you got the Senator as a Commodore with a honking big V8 instead of the six, lucky beggars :¬)
