Given these are a custom format LCD (what isn't, really?) I don't personally think the cost of the OEM bulbs it too mch compared to overheating the LCD and bursting a seal on it - the dreaded "turning white" clouds-in-from-the-edge effect of the liquid crystal no longer under consistent pressure (and so not polarising right).

I seem to recall (this was the first fix I ever did to my baby) that I took one of the bulbs and bought new ones from a local gas station. I noticed there were a watt or two bigger ones available so I bought those.

The OBC now burns brightly.

Not always necessary to see the dealer about these...
