pics and write up! The only thing I would add (if I may) is another tip to resolve the headrest repair. If you are uncomfortable (or lazy like me) cutting 1/4" off the sheath...you can forego shortening the sheath and cut a 1/4" (straight) piece from a metal coat hanger and place it into the gear where the cable goes...then put the cable in the gear and screw it back in. That's what I did back in Nov/Dec 2000 and mine is still working great.

Gale, your mechanical prowess runs circles around me...but just wanted to offer a simple and quick tip.
