A S..S...S..S..Stutter, only on Autocruise.... (archive)

Today I was out in the Beast **Grin** Motorway was pretty empty so I locked it on autocruise at 70mph, It glided along for sometime then Violent stuttering almost like a fuel shortage, except when I cancelled the "Cruise" The car ran and pulled perfectly as is nothing was wrong!! In fact It pulled so well that I Blew off and XJ6 Sport!! Dimwit tried to run me off the road, That's another story.... Settled back on autocruise and S..S...S...S..S..T..TUTTER!
Damned Frustrating!! Opinions welcomed.

My thoughts are that it could be dampness in the HT side, will check tommorrow.
