About the problem: if it was the pump īt would overheat in town.

I suggest you try to externally clean the radiator first; remove the front grile and wash it. If you have access to compressed air then blow the rad clean from the engine compartment towards outside.

If that fails then yes, change the radiator.

If there's that much crap in the system then you should flush it a couple of times over before installing the brand spankin' new rad; otherwise it might get clogged as well.
