Pull the auxillary water pump relay and drive again. If its still blows pull the compressor control relay. Pull each relay one at a time and drive until you determine which circuit is causing it to blow.
I just dove it with A/C and everthing off
Still blew the fuse
Mmm. Any ideas? Havn't had the meter to it yet

terminals for the clutch with an ohmeter. If you get infinity or no resistance either one then its bad. Also you'll usually dark brown gooey looking stuff dripping out of it if it cooked itself. On the auxillary pump you can also check with an ohmeter. Or you can just disconnect it and see if that corrects the fuse blowing.
You're correct. Fuse 9 is blowing
Watch should I look for in the A/C compressor clutch or auxillary water pump
Help would be much appreciated

the compressor control relay is k33 in the auxillary relay box in front of the leftside strut tower. Not the main fuse box but the smaller relay box further forward. The phone alert relay is the one in the front power dist. box. Its k51 in here. The box with all the fuses.K8 in the same box is the defroster auxillary waterpump relay. And last but not least the horn relay is K2 in that same box. With all that said and done its most likely either your A/C compressor clutch or a bad auxillary water pump thats blowing the fuse.
on my 1990 730 IL
compressor control relay, phone alert relay, front defogger/water pump relay, and the horn relay
Can anyone help me please
