Just did this on my 89" 750il, yes remove the three bolts that hold on the pulley, then the four and one more on a bracket to the block in the upper back, along withthe three banjo bolts, to keep all the connections and area clean I washed the area with brake cleaner first, make sure you get all six compression washers to reseal the banjos when reinstalling, the torque specs on them seem very light, as per bentley they are,
pump to bracket 22nm 16ft lbs
bracket to block 22nm 16ft
M14 banjo bolt 35nm 26ft
M16 banjo bolts 40nm 30ft lbs
Pentozin refill 1.8 liters
fill to 25mm (1 inch) below rim of reservoir, with rear whheels off the ground, Hope this helps.
I have been trying to get the pump removed and there seems to be a hold up. there are two bolts that are behind the pulley face I can't seem to find the way to get this done, if anyone has done this can you please help i need the steps to get the pulley off. any help please, yes it has the lad mabey a website with pics. thks dana
