1/ I'm Glad Your Still Here, Still you may have gone n' bought a 38 by now Te...He!

Try and Contact Derin on the Board, He's Just bought a 735 from Mclaren Race Team. I'm told it was a dealer sale, therefore you should be able "In Theory" To use that as a Price Guide. I'm Reliably informed that for what he paid for it, He could have purchased an E38!!! So I'm Told....

Hope this Helps.

Well, what do you know?!! Anybody who read my most recent post will know what this is all about, but guess what, here in Ireland, it seems as though our insurance companies are more powerful than the government!! I produced an 'independent valuation' on my car,as requested by my insurance company, the valuation having been gotten from the Revenue Comissioners, who do this sort of thing all the time for the purpose of assessing Vehicle Registration Tax. But lo and behold, the insurance company won't recognise this valuation and now want one from a BMW main dealer. This I have already tried with the 4 main dealers we have here in Dublin, but to no avail, as these dealers don't sell cars 14 years old, and so won't value one. Now I've had to get on to the insurance ombudsman to fight my case. So far the insurance company won't even let me speak directly with the 'engineer' who has assessed my car and who has, out of the goodness of his heart, upped the original offer from one third of the insured value, to one half. I told the insurance company, if they can replace my car for the money they're offering, then go right ahead! All this for a 'top of the range' fully comprehensive policy!! GRRRRRRRRR!!!
