believe there is a bi-turbo E-34 factory car out
there but there is a gent who hangs out on a new
board..www.bimmernut.com. Select the E-34 board
and ask for Pat. He built his twin turbo E-34 M-30 and believe he is pushing close to 400 hp on
pump gas. You may want to contact him and bump
your scenerio off him...he's into it. At last
post, he is purchasing a programmable engine management system that will completely eradicate
the motronic computer and controls..really something. You didn't mention what motor you are
working on..sounded like it may have two manifolds..a V12?

Can a turbocharger be mounted with axis 60 degrees
upward relative to the plane of the crankshaft? Seems like there is no reason why not. Pressurized oil feed to bearing.
I pickup two mopar garret turbo's today. They could mount over inverted stock manifolds at about 60 (more or less). and bolt simply with an simple adapter it now appears. The mopar stock exhaust housing could be retained and would aim nicely toward the rear in this configuration.

I'm having fun.

Grabbed a ford turbo also. Almost grabbed two volvo turbo deisel turbos's as well, but wanted to run home, watch the kids soccer game, and then play awhile in the shop.

I did grab the ford intercooler system. It's really neat. Mounts flat under the hood. And has a scoop to catch and direct air into the cooler.

I appreciate any more suggestions.
