Sorry, but don't you mean PCV? The PCV valve is the "positive crankcase ventilation" valve, and allows hot, oily air with traces of gasoline that build up in the crankcase to be sucked into the intake manifold and burned. It is a pollution control that keeps these unignited fumes from venting into the air and adding to the smog. If you ever smell the fumes from the carnkcase while the engine's running, you'll understand that millions of cars running around without PCV valves would make the air a lot less pleasant."PVC" stands for "polyvinyl chloride", unless there's something else it also stands for that I don't know about.//Bill 735i
On my 89 750 they are right below the throttle bodies. Three tube assembly with one going to the valve cover, one going to the air boot and one going to the side of the air plenum.
