88 735i. My AC switch panel was loose so I (too easily) pulled out the panel. It looks as if there are several other connectors behind that a)are not connected anywhere. b)do not match any of the two open female connectors on the back on the panel. AC/Heat works fine. Are these for other options not installed on this vehicle? How is the panel attached within the dash? Just a snug fit?
