BMW uses similar wiring harnesses in various ranges of cars. The wiring harness for e32 7er's is the same one used in e34 5er's or vice versa. The e34 could have been upgraded at the customers request from the std IHKA to the twin rotary dial variety we are all familiar with. The wiring harness is built to accomodate either model of IHKA.

Our twin rotary dial module doesn't need to use the other connectors for the lesser model IHKA.
