earth did you do that? Is it a clearance issue with the "width" of the tire/wheel in combination
with the offset of those Alpinas you are running? Moving the spring perchs up will only limit travel that much more which has to
be virtually unbearable from a ride standpoint with as short a side wall you have with those 20 inchers. I respect your creativity..just don't
know why you would do that. Since the O.D. of the
tire is almost the same as stock..provided the
widths you are running aren't bigger than 245mm..
why move the perchs?

First e32 on 20s i have seen and i have been waiting for ages, good stuff ...your pics seem to small and taken from the wrong angles...... make them bigger and get a low side view if possible ... did u keep the standard height or was it lowered a bit? i didnt realise so much work was neccessary to put 20s on.. 19s are a straight fit.
the car wasnt lowered but it will be i have to roll the quater panels im also going to paint the rocker panels the same color as the car, the car now has platnium tint the bmw m3 light weight checkered flag on the driver side and a new alpina sticker on the wind shield, navigation system dvd player and well lots to list but tham i think im spending to much its only an 89 email me for further info
I DID I HAD TO UNWELD THE STRUT PLATE ( THE PLATE WERE THE SPRING SITS ON)THEN WELD IT BACK ON 2 INCHES HIGHER AND I HAD TO CU THE SPRING I THINK IT WAS 3 TURNS TO COMPANSATE FOR THE PLATE NOTE(this was very hard since i had bend a smaller loop on the spring so hat it will sit on the plate)
i dont have a problem with the "width" i use a 3/8 inch spacer with longer bolts and the plate issue was to clear the o.d of the 20 inch tire(thats why you cant put 20s on this car)
and it dint affect the ride of the car that much people have a miss conception about 20 inch rims they think that the car would ride bad as a matter of fact you coulnt hardly tell the difference the car rides nice and another thing alpinas are real strong rims so i drive the car just like if i had stock wheels
