If the AFM is checking out - it could be other things. I'd first check for vacuum leaks and fuel pressure. How's your idle? Vacuum leaks could cause a less than perfect idle, as well as power loss under throttle.

HOw do I know if my AFS is failing? symptoms?
I am getting a loss of power at mid speed, on and off. and then continues ok. Could the AFM do this?
checked the Air flow electrical as per bentley's and checked ok.
