I had the same problem...car has 118,000 miles on it. I had the spark plugs changed and the smell went away. The plugs that came out had probably never been changed as the electrodes on some were nearly gone!! Suspect poor fuel burning was the cause of smell. Changing the plugs on a v12 is no easy task.....should be easier on the 735. Good luck
