Dome Brake light (archive)

I had posted earlier but no help. Can anyone help me finding the fault:

1. My dome brake center light does not work.
2. Guess that is the reason I get the BRAKE LIGHT error in the OBC
3. I changed the bulb with a new one, did not work (used the old bulb in my 325 that worked so the bulb is OK)
4. Tried hitting the LKM but nothing happened.

WHere shoild I start and troubleshoot. I do not want to go to the stealer, I know it might be a very small issue. I have a digital multimeter, Alos got my Bentley Manual, and wow it is so complex (complex than my 1987 325e manual) but I tired seeing the circuit every thing goes thru the LKM
