The dealer said Prestone or Peak would be just fine. Keep in mind, these are the same guys who told me there is no microfilter in my 88 735i. You might want a second opinion. Remember, when you change the antifreeze, you have to burp the system by losening a srew on the water pump.

CAN I USE PRESTONS OR DO I HAVE TO USE THE BMW BRAND? I'M TOLD YES, THEN I'M TOLD NO
