Your trip metter reseting is a problem with the capacitators in your dashboard.

The reason you can't see your odometer/tripmeter could be a blown bulb (it's a backlit display). Can you see the checkcontrol display and transmission program indicators ?

I'm new to the E32s, is this a common problem? I can only see the odometer/trip meter readings in the daylight if the sun shines on them. Also have noticed the trip starts over from zero every time I go somewhere. I have a lot to learn about E32s!
