On a serious Note though, What kinda mileage has the car done?

Also...Bhp depends on the Type of camshaft used, over here we use Schrick Cams, They're supposed to guarantee a 25% increase in power and Excellently made....Alledgedly!! Not having one fitted I don't know, however has the head gasket been done on your car at any time??? Was the Timing Chain Ever replaced?? Does the airflow meter adjust or is it stuck at a certain percentage???

All thes need to be explored before taking such a drastic step, perhaps if you can give us more detail we might be able to help.

One last point....What were you expecting on the 35 engine, it is after all pulling nearly 2tons of dead weight, so it's hardly gonna be a Ferrari beater now is it??

How much of a difference does installing new cams make? Im looking for more power, I own a 1988 735i, and its a dog! Soon i will get the DINAN chip, but I need something else that will give me more power. Please help!
