Yes, crush washers are from dealer. They are silver aluminum and look like the originals. Even tried to re-use the old washers and still could not get the bolt started. Not much room to get your finger into the area above/around the bolt...

Just a Quickie Jeff.....Are the washer's Genuine parts or aftermarket?

I'v done this may a time on various cars and had no problem, So I'm having Difficulty understanding why it won't go back together.
The washers should in theory be Copper "Crush " Type therefore should "Crush" down when the nut compresses the fittings.

Just Thinking out loud.

Reposting this: Has anyone ever replaced this pressure hose with banjo bolt at the top of the power steering pump without removing the pump?

I am in the process of replacing the accumulator/pressure regulator to pump hose on my 1990 750iL...Any suggestions on how to start the banjo bolt at the top of the pump? It will go in fine without the washers and hose but doesn't seen to go in far enough to catch threads with all new parts on bolt. Thanks,
