You are correct although I believe the Year to be 1990. However mine is a 1988 735i and according to the "Stealers" my car hasn't got one fitted......Imagine the surprise I got when chasing another repair in the same area. Take the side panel off in the passengers well, next to the transmission tunnel and Low n' behold there in front of me IS a Micro filter!!!

Apparently some of the early cars had them fitted as part of a special package, Not optional, something that BM was working on...Dunno if it's true or not, that's what I'm being told by the UK Stealer. All I do Know to Be true, Is that I do have one Fitted to my 88' Car!!! Why I'll even send the old one to you free of charge if you want.
