Don't worry, there is no dumb when it comes to troubleshooting.
Car turns over great. I don't have a better battery unfortunately. The one I have is a sears die hard the spendy one for the car,it's less than six months old. I did completely disconnest both terminals (+-) and trickle charge it for 24 hrs. so it should be good to go. Got spark, got compression got fuel, not sureon the press. as that's one of the few tools I don't have. All the sensors check out except the crank position sensor, it's just a little out. It makes me think I may have burned something on my initial charging. What that may be (that I haven't checked yet) I don't know.

Thanks for the interest.

Sorry for being "Dumb" but does the car turn over fast or Slow?

Have you tried a better battery i.e one that You know is sound?

These car are temperamental when the battery pays up. Try this and come back to me.

Yes the car does turn over. After the second dat of a no start the battery was low so I out it on a trickle charge at the "bonnet terminal". It didn't seem to take though. Being as I had the backseat out alrealy to check connections I hooked up the charger there @12v 2a. I'm pretty sure I disconnected the ground but this was two months ago, so I'v started second guessing myself.
Thanks
Does the car turn over at all?? did you "jump" the car using the terminal inside the bonnet?

Just Curious.

Regards
Dave M
What systems would be affected if you jumpstart a bimmer wrong(753i to be specific) I thought it was obc fuses that were affected. I'm dealing with a no start prob. I haven't jumped it or charged it outside of specs. Weird problem spark fuel and won't start. Did I burn something out in the ecu while charging the battery(12v @ 2amp)? I opened it up and saw no visable damage. What else sould I look for. I've checked every thing else I could, what might I be missing?
