Don, you can bet your control arms are a factor because that is the speed range they start showing the wear. You can keep driving for a long time because mind started ever so slightly at 55 MPH and now 30K later it is bad at all speeds.


I just put new tires on the front. No shimmy before I replaced the tires. Now there it is....between 50 and 55 mph and even more when slowing thru that range. Wheels out of balance? Wife hit a curb, who knows. Please tell me it is not the upper and lower ball joints as it is tax time. Thanks in advance. OBTW 225K on my 88 735i.
