When you unhooked your charger from the posts under the hood and connected them directly to the battery under the rear seat...where you sure you connected them to the correct pos/neg posts? I only say that because it's easy to take for granted that the red cable is positive and the black cable is negative (especially in the USA) but in the BMW this is not the case. Actually the RED cable is connected to the NEGATIVE post and the BLACK cable is connected to the POSITIVE post. If this is what you did (reversing the polarity)...you may have fried something...what..I don't know...but it may point you in the right direction if that'a what occured.

What systems would be affected if you jumpstart a bimmer wrong(753i to be specific) I thought it was obc fuses that were affected. I'm dealing with a no start prob. I haven't jumped it or charged it outside of specs. Weird problem spark fuel and won't start. Did I burn something out in the ecu while charging the battery(12v @ 2amp)? I opened it up and saw no visable damage. What else sould I look for. I've checked every thing else I could, what might I be missing?
