HINT: This procedure can be confusing because on some vehicles (mine included) this pic with the positions is correct for the DRIVERS (left hand drive) but REVERSED for the PASSENGER side. (govern yourselves accordingly to your particular lock set up)

Netzer try resyncing your locks. Sometimes when the battery is disconnected this can happen.
TO RESYNC LOCKS:
1. Close all doors and trunk
2. Go to your front passengers door and lock doors to the SYNCHRONIZE position ( turn to either position 1 or 5... which ever position LOCKS your passenger door)
3. Go to your drivers door and UNLOCK the doors

If any locks do not unlock...repeat procedure until locks are synchronized.

I just bought a 1988 735 yesterday. The guy changed the battery and now the central locks aren't working properly. The drivers door does not open or close with the others. Help Please..
